Refund & Return Policy – myFloorDetail

At myFloorDetail, we stand behind the quality of our products and aim to provide full transparency about our return and refund process.

1. Return Window

You may request a return within 30 calendar days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The product must be in its original, unused, and uninstalled condition;

  • It must be clean, unassembled, without scratches or stains, and in original packaging with all tags or labels;

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) must be provided.

Products that have been used, installed, partially arranged, or show signs of dirt, scratches, wear or contamination will not be accepted for return under any circumstance. Floor tiles that have been stepped on, connected or exposed to dirt, moisture, or wear are considered used.


2. Return Procedure

To initiate a return, contact us at info@myfloordetail.com within the 30-day period.

Once your return is approved, we will:

  • Send you a return authorization and instructions;

  • Provide a return shipping label (if applicable);

  • Share the address where to send your return.

⚠️ Returns sent without prior approval will be rejected.


3. Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If you receive:

  • a defective item,

  • damaged packaging,

  • or the wrong product,

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will evaluate the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.


4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Used, opened, or dirty products;

  • Custom-made or personalized items;

  • Sale/clearance items;

  • Gift cards;

  • Hazardous materials or flammable substances.


5. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to change a product, please initiate a return (subject to approval) and place a new order once your return is confirmed.


6. European Union – 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are located in the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, without providing any reason.

However, this right applies only if the product is unused, clean, uninstalled, and in its original packaging. Used, installed, or dirty items are excluded from this right under Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, which allows exemption for goods that are no longer suitable for return due to hygiene or installation.


7. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, you will be notified of the outcome:

  • If approved, we’ll refund the original payment method within 10 business days.

  • If the item is rejected due to use or contamination, no refund will be issued and the item will be returned to you at your cost.

Bank and credit card processing times may vary. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, please contact us at info@myfloordetail.com.
